We have worked many times with Pastor Renold Tao in Vanuatu and towards the beginning of 2020 he requested us to run several programs with him this year. One of these programs was scheduled for the small village called Bambua. This village is located on the island of Ambae, one of the larger islands in Vanuatu.

There are still many parts of Ambae that still need the message of truth to be presented and this is an area that has been neglected. There is a small Adventist church in this area, but some church members had backslidden and a general revival was greatly needed. The pastor that services this area was very keen for us to work in this location, as the program would be an outreach as well as spiritual revival for the whole church.

The program was conducted in the month of November and was blessed with good weather each day, with many attending each night. Throughout the program we gave out several hundred Bibles, as well as some second hand clothing.

The program finished with 20 baptisms and a number of backslidden church members rededicating their lives back to the Lord. One of the baptismal candidates was an elderly lady with only one leg. She had been a part of the Presbyterian church since she was a child and after faithfully attending the meetings every night, she desired to accept the Sabbath and the Adventist message.
