During the month of October 2018, Cornerstone Ministries conducted an evangelistic campaign series in Malawi, Africa. The capital city of Lilongwe was selected by the Malawi Union and we were planning for a large harvest along with church revival.

We first met with our 30 Bible-workers who were preparing the groundwork before we arrived. They had been working for two months in the seven main areas of Lilongwe, which became the areas where we conducted the evangelistic programs. 

The venues were all outdoor sites and each program was translated into the local language called Chichewa. Each night our appeals were responded to by dozens of listeners giving their lives to Christ by making a public stand and coming to the front for prayer and commitment.

On our final Sabbath in Lilongwe, 659 souls were baptized! Due to the large number of baptismal candidates, we hired a local portable swimming pool that was filled by the Lilongwe fire truck. Eight pastors conducted the baptisms as several thousand church members sang and welcomed the new members into the church.

After the morning baptisms, all the candidates received a Bible in the local Chichewa dialect.
