Muxungue is the area where the Portuguese first arrived in Mozambique and is a strong Catholic area. The district is very open to the Seventh-day Adventist message and it is the fastest growing church in the district. 

We conducted 3 programs around the city with 30 Bible workers laying the groundwork. Good numbers of people attended the programs each night, with many making decisions for the Lord. At the end of the programs 647 were baptized. 

One of the newly baptized was a Pentecostal Pastor that you can see in the picture with his wife and young child.

Our programs in Muxungue were very successful and ask that you pray for the ongoing work in this district.
