Converted by Dreams – Bachir, Mozambique

Bachir was born in Pebane, in northern Mozambique, where the Muslim population is at 90 percent and other faiths are not welcome. His parents were very influential in the mosque and he grew up in a very strict muslim home, where he was taught to detest other religions.

Bachir was happy in his faith, but always felt that deep down he was missing something. He felt he had no personal connection to Allah (God) and always felt lost, even though he was following his religion to the letter of the law.

Then in December, 2019, he had a strange dream. The dream was repeated over three consecutive nights. In his dream three white women walked up to him and said, “You will be receiving a book and you must read it!” He said at first the dream meant nothing, but after he received the dream three times, he felt it was a message from God.

Several months later our Bible worker Marco was working in Bachir’s area preparing for an evangelism series we were about to conduct. He was offering Bible studies and a book on Bible prophecy. He knocked on Bachir’s front door and when Bachir opened the door he was stunned to see the book from his dream presented in front of him. He was so shocked he almost passed out! Here was the book he had dreamt about! The book is one we have recently put together on Bible prophecy and Bachir eagerly accepted it. Once he completed the book he attended the evangelism program and was baptised several months later!

We praise the Lord for His simple way of reaching into the Muslim community and what a joy it is to see these men brought into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ through dreams.
