In recent months we have had two very interesting conversions from Islam through dreams. The first is a man named Ismail Faquir.

Ismail was born into a devout Muslim family in 1993 in Mipinha, Mozambique. When he was seven years old his parents died and his uncle, who was a Muslim Imam (pastor), took care of him. Sadly for Ismail his uncle also died four years ago leaving him without any family. 

On September 7th, 2019, Ismail had a dream. In his dream he saw two doves fighting. One was white and the other black. In the fight he noticed that the black dove was weak and could not win. As the fight went on, the black dove was killed by the white one. The following day he had the same dream, only this time the white dove was holding the Bible and the black dove was holding a Koran! At the end of the dream a voice came from no where saying twice, “Ismail follow the Bible!” “Ismail follow the Bible!”

He put the dream to the back of his mind and continued studying his Koran. Then one day he saw our Bible-worker Marco walking past with a Bible in his hand. The dream flashed before his mind again with great force. So he called out to Marco and said, “Can you teach me the Bible?” Ismail told Marco about his dreams and at once they started studying the Bible together! Two weeks later he attended our evangelism series and was fascinated at how powerful Bible prophecy is and how Jesus is the saviour of the world. 

Ismail has since been baptised and is walking strong in his new Christian faith.
